With only rocks, grass tussocks and button wildflowers for company, Craig´s Hut looks out in every direction across hundreds of kilometres of solitary wilderness. Built for the film The Man from Snowy River, this replica of an early settler´s slab hut stands today as a memorial to the high country men and women whose fierce love for the land taught them they could respect it and work it but never tame it. There is a lot we can still learn from them today.
