I am fascinated by old, abandoned buildings and always wonder about the story behind the structure. I feel as if every place holds memories and dreams of those who have been part of its history. In front of this dwelling there are flowers blossoming from bulbs planted long ago. New blooms arise each year as if in tribute to the loving hands that planted them. And off to the right, an orange tree bears delicious fruit. We were fortunate enough to meet the property owner who gave us permission to shoot the old place. I was enthralled as he recounted some of its history. Days go by and we are all on a journey, but what will remain when we are gone? Let's leave behind a good story: a life well lived, that will bear lasting fruit for future generations.
