Burra is a wonderful town, full of history and country charm. Its many ruins, set in gentle, undulating landscapes, make it a photographers paradise. After my photo of a homestead similar to this one featured on Midnight Oils Diesel and Dust album cover, that cottage became a major tourist destination. Over the years I have built relationships with some of the farmers around Burra. Those hard-working, down to earth, fun loving people have helped me learn about the area, discover its hidden treasures and capture some great photo opportunities. This cottage could well become another iconic South Australian location. The photo is named after Reggie, the last person to live in the hut. Long live your dreams!
