For years I had been told of the beauty of the Yarra Valley. When I finally visited, I agreed, but I found its beauty hard to capture on film. I knew I needed a magical moment of light. Thats what I discovered here one sunrise, after using that very scientific method known as following my intuition. I had simply gone driving, surrounded by fog, turning right or left as I saw fit. I ended up on a little dirt track. When the fog began to lift, this was the view a willow beautifully backlit through the mist by the sunrise, its branches neatly trimmed by cows, and the sun shining gold in the upper leaves.
