This 1928 Chevrolet belonged to an illustrious Aussie character from the small South Australian town of Cockaleechie. Bill was a confirmed bachelor and ladies man until the day he died, often seen cruising in his treasured "Rattlin Annie", his name and occupation proudly displayed on the driver's door. We found the car surrounded by chicken wire, choked by weeds and impossible to photograph. So I asked the property owner, one of Bill's relatives, if we could move it. Having just finished the wheat harvest, he had time to play. He hooked the car up to his tractor and joined in the fun of repositioning it. After the photo was taken, Annie was left in this paddock, free once more.
