This is Piccaninny Creek in Purnululu National Park. I went in at the end of the wet season, while there was still water in some of the creeks. To get this sunset photo I had to sit for ages submerged in water up to my chest. It was the only spot from which I could get the reflection and it was a real challenge. I had to breathe very slowly to make sure I didnt ripple the water and the whole time I sat there little fish were nibbling at my toes. I forced myself to ignore them and just remain calm. I called this shot Purnululu Dreaming because as I sat there waiting for the conditions to become right it was just wonderful to reflect on life and my dreams. In such a beautiful space its hard not to start thinking and dreaming of what lifes all about and what lies ahead.
