Kings Cascades is located on the Prince Regent River in the East Kimberley. The cascades, which spill over terraced rock formations, come from a tributary that runs into the river. This waterfall is tidally affected; here it is shot at low tide as the suns early morning rays begin to hit the falls. As beautiful as it is, this is not a place to go swimming as huge crocodiles inhabit the area. This is pristine wilderness country truly the last frontier. The safe place to swim is above the falls, in beautiful little pools but definitely not below them.
