This is the quintessential shot of a quaint English village steeped in history - a sleepy scene that would have changed very little over the past hundred years or so. The village of Buckden is home to less than 3,000 people. In the centre of the shot a farmer in a bright red jumper is mustering his sheep. My slow shutter speed ( second) makes the rambling sheep appear blurry. It was a typical English day. Through long periods of patchy cloud cover I had waited patiently for precious pockets of sunshine to break through, illuminate this scene and bring the valley to life.
