Arriving in Iguazu National Park late one afternoon, I was keen to check out Iguazu Falls. I found a vantage point at the end of a walkway in our hotel grounds that basically puts you right in the heart of the waterfall. It was a bit like trying to take photos in the shower, and the light that afternoon was not ideal, so I decided to try a sunrise shot. Returning to the hotel late, and not having time to speak to hotel staff, I was unaware they didn't t want people walking down to the falls before daylight, as jaguars and other dangerous wildlife roam free in the Park. I'ventured down 2 hours before sunrise and although I was unaware of the potential danger, it was very eerie, with many strange sounds coming out of the rich, dense forest surrounding the falls. Fortunately, all was well and in the pre-dawn light I was able to shoot this 6-image stitch which captures the whole scene.
