The Taj Mahal has to be one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, but the story behind it makes it even more significant. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built this opulent white marble mausoleum in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. To this day the emperor and his beloved rest together; this architectural masterpiece a symbol of their endless love.
I noticed a boatman ferrying people across the river in his old wooden vessel and he agreed to help me obtain this unique angle. I love the way this architectural masterpiece reflects in the river and really wanted to convey the majesty of the building in its surroundings.
