No doubt you I've heard that expression about being harder to find than a polar bear in a snowstorm . Well here are three polar bears a mother and her two cubs heading into a blizzard. Not long after this shot was taken, the snowstorm erased this trio from our view and turned the scene into plain white. I love the subtlety of this shot and the emotion it invokes. The ice has formed on Hudson Bay in Canada and this mother is heading out to teach her cubs how to hunt for seals. As if facing the cold is not enough, she must keep a close watch over her cubs, carefully guarding them against possible attacks from other predators. Being a mother is a tough job. She must protect and provide for her young and equip them to face the storms of life, for they are the hope for future generations.
