To me, elephants are the true kings of the jungle. They seem so gentle and relaxed, but if you mess with them, you will quickly realise the extent of their power. I had looked forward to this trip to Kaziranga National Park and the chance to photograph Indian elephants, which are different from their African relatives. I was hoping for a photo to compliment one I had taken of a solitary bull elephant in the Zambezi River, called "The Power of One". The resulting shot, captured in India, is called "Power of Unity", for there is greater power in unity than in solidarity. Here we see the herd looking after each other and watching over the new generation.
