The Entrance is a part of the Central Coast that is slowly changing but still has a charming holiday feel to it. Many people with holiday homes in the area come from Sydney and beyond to pursue their love of swimming or fishing. This shot is taken at the actual entrance to Tuggerah Lakes where the fishermen await their catch at the turn of the tide. Judging by the number of anglers, this is obviously a good fishing spot. In the evening, people catch prawns here as well in fact the whole area abounds with sea life and Im sure many young people have learned to fish right in this spot. What I have tried to capture here at sunset is the wonderful holiday feeling of a sleepy fishing village where tourists come to enjoy the slower pace of life and go for the big catch.
