Seal Rocks in New South Wales is an area abounding with beautiful beaches. It is a popular spot for surfers and holiday makers, as it is not over developed. The place retains its wonderful Aussie charm and authenticity and provides a haven from the hectic pace of modern life.
On this day my assistant and I were the only people on Lighthouse Beach as we waited for sunrise. We were hypnotized by the majesty of the scene unfolding in front of us. Pastel hues migrated across the heavens above as the full moon was slowly setting in the west and the lighthouse was sending out its signals to unknown mariners. Wonderful reflections and highlights sparkled as the sea caressed the shore. For a grand finale, the sun commences its triumphant proclamation of a new day.
This shot reminds me to seize the day - the chance for a new beginning.
