Karijini National Park is a spectacular maze of gorges carved over millennia out of the ancient banded ironstone formations. To reach this particular part of Hancock Gorge you need a specially trained guide and you must abseil down the rock wall. Consequently, this is one of Karijinis lesser known spots. Its a tranquil, restful place, where you are usually quite undisturbed so you can take the time to sit back and contemplate life, free of the distractions of the modern world. At the top of the image, you will see some of the ropes we laid up to get down into this part of the gorge. I intentionally left those in, as I wanted to stay true to the scene. It often requires effort to enter places of such tranquillity, which is why Ive called it Karijini Dreaming.

Every effort has been made on this Gallery site to accurately represent the vibrant colours of Ken’s images. However, due to differences in computer screens and certain other variations, the images here should only to be taken as a guide.
The colour and sharpness of a finished Ken Duncan Limited Edition Print are far superior to what can be presented on a small screen.
