The first time I'ventured into this area, I arrived late, rushing to beat the setting sun. Not having time to really look around, I made do with what I thought was a good angle. I later discovered there were far better options. The next morning, returning well before sunrise with time to settle in, I realised that the area was much more diverse than I had imagined. There was one angle I had often seen photographed, but I wanted to avoid the obvious and find my own dramatic interpretation of this beautiful place. I captured the sunrise, but it didn't really excite me. However, several hours later, the light began to dance and scene came to life. The seas were wild and the clouds were zooming along. I waited for what I felt to be the decisive moment - the crashing of the wave.
