This tiger looks so passive and dreamy, yet in an instant he could pounce. In his soul searching stare I detected a fiery glint. He is a beautiful cat and when he gazed into my eyes I could feel his strength. No fears would hold captive the spirit of this majestic animal. He is definitely a survivor. When I was searching for a name for this print, the chorus from that well-known song by the group "Survivor" came to mind:
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor, stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger.
