Why have I named this image Heavenly? Because for me, this spot is one of planet Earth's truly exceptional places. When it comes to idyllic beach destinations, Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island must be near the top of any location list. A visit to this area should be on everyone's bucket list. Hill Inlet can only be reached by boat, but once you're there, you can play all day on pure white sand and swim in crystal clear waters. The photo shows a group of people being dropped off to explore this paradise. What a wonderful place to unwind and soak in the wonder of creation.
