This lady sat on her stool, embracing her cello - complete with her music score and her pile of CD’s for sale - as the cacophony of modern-day Rome threatened to drown out her classical sounds. She didn’t seem to notice. Or bother. The world passed her by, stopped to gawk and take selfies, while she just played on. Beautifully. Her dress, her cello and hair were all a bit faded - like the paint on the Corso wall behind her - but it didn’t matter. The music of Mozart is timeless.
